Perhaps you have heard about Ilhan Omar who is the first Muslim woman elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. Expressing her right to freedom of speech guaranteed by the U.S. constitution, she dared to criticize the frenzied activities of the Jewish American lobbyist organization called America Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) that has a tenacious hold on the members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. She also expressed her opinion on the brutal atrocities being committed by the state of Israeli against the Palestinian people in Gaza and occupied West Bank.
It seems the Congress-woman knocked at the wrong door and broached a taboo topic who tackles will bring immediate harm to him/her self. Since then, she has been under incessant vicious attack on the part of Jewish members in the Senate and Congress as well as from the Senate and from the senior members of her Democratic Party who were supposed to defend her.
It appears the fresh congresswoman who is also a mother did not know that the two houses of U.S. legislature worship, adore and idolize Israel. Anyone who dares to criticize Israel will be immediately stigmatized to be anti-Semitic. In addition, Ilhan also receives threats, verbal and written messages from anti-Muslim elements in the country as well as from Saudi Arabia, Arab Emirates and Israel.
Strangely enough, the current rabid campaign against Ilhan Omar is led by Mr. Donald Trump, the President of the United States of America!! This unholy alliance exerts unbearable emotional pressure on her; they threaten her, harass her and aggrieve her in a bid to silence her for good. Even hitmen are after her.
Ilhan’s case can be likened to a pack of wolves chasing a prey in the prairie. He is mistaken who believes there is a real freedom of speech in U.S.A. Such being the reality of the situation, all fair-minded and all peace-loving peoples in the world are called on to get in motion briskly and quickly and speak up in her favor and show solidarity to her by holding rallies and demonstrations.
Ilhan Omar is being attacked because she is plucky, resolute and spirited and expressed her opinion freely on a current pressing topic. She deserves support and backing.
