At least one Chinese citizen was killed and another one injured when six attackers robbed seven Chinese in an industrial park in Ethiopia’s Oromiyaa on Sunday, according to the Chinese embassy in Ethiopia.

The incident occurred at 6:30 p.m. local time. An investigation is underway.

After the incident, the Chinese embassy immediately contacted Ethiopian authorities, urging them to solve the case as soon as possible and severely punish the criminals according to law.
