Welsh-born Somali Diplomat Abdulrahim Abby Farah died yesterday at his home in New York.
He was 98-years-old.
Abdulrahim Abby Farah was the Permanent Representative of Somalia to the United Nations.
He has been described as ‘influential’ and ‘one of Somalia’s most accomplished diplomats’.
In 2014, the Vale CVS charity celebrated Abdulrahim Abby Farah as part of Black History Month. They said he was a ‘Barry Boy that helped free Mandela’.
