Rwanda air has launched the first airbus in East Africa. The airbus a330-200 series with a carrying capacity of 244 passengers was launched at the Jomo Kenyatta international airport yesterday.

Rwandair becomes the first airline to launch an airbus in east Africa. One of the key features of the new aircraft is internet on board. The airline’s country manager in Kenya Fatma Awadh said passengers will also be able to make calls and text while travelling.
The launch was presided over by Rwandese ambassador to Kenya James Kimonyo.
