UWAIT CITY, An Ethiopian maid who attempted to end her life by jumping from the window of her sponsor’s house in Andalus has been admitted to the Al-Sabah Hospital, reports Al- Kuwaitiah daily.

From her hospital bed the victim said she wanted to end her life because of maltreatment and keeping her locked in a room each time the family went out. Police have summoned the sponsor for interrogation

Woman robbed: An Ethiopian woman has filed a complaint with the Maidan Hawally Police Station accusing an unidentified person of breaking into her room and stealing her Ipad, laptop computer and gold chain, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits.
