A suspended Sharjah policeman has embraced Islam.

The Filipino, Mohammed Karim, said he was happy with his  new life.

He said he was considering to embrace Islam since two years, after his compatriot – a medic with Sharjah Police – introduced him to the teaches of Islam.

The suspended cop, in his 40s, converted in the presence of Colonel Ahmed Saeed bin Hareb, Head of Dhaid Police Station and  Sheikh Atef of Awqaf of the Islamic Affairs. Also present at the occasion were several other officers.
