THE repatriation of more than half a million Somali refugees from Kenya is on the right track, the government said yesterday.

Commissioner for refugees Haron Komen said those to be repatriated are between 300 and 500 per convoy.

“We held some meeting in Somalia on Tuesday last week to deliberate on the progress. We will increase the number of those being repatriated and extend where they will settle,” Komen said on the phone.

He said all refugees, regardless of their age, will get food ratio, sensitisation and 140 dollars to “re-start their lives”.
