Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s Prime Minister and the President of the European Union Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, signed Thursday three financing agreements to support investments in the African nation’s economy.
They have a join value of EUR 130 million and will fund sustainable energy development projects, establishment of agro-industrial parks and job creation, the Prime Minister’s Office announced.
Prior the negotiation signing protocol in Brussels, Belgium, both discussed bilateral issues and regional and global affairs, the official communication added, without revealing other details.
Ahmed is completing in Belgium the third stage of a journey through Europe, beginning Monday with an official visit to Italy and continuing in Davos, Switzerland, where he attended the Forty-ninth Meeting of the World Economic Forum.
