Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has preached a message of peace and unity to Narok leaders.
Speaking on Sunday, the CS urged Narok leaders to unite and put politics behind and deliver to the residents.
“I want to ask Narok leaders to unite. To the MPs, MCAs and senators unite behind your Governor and all leaders in the national government to unite and support President Ruto,” Duale said.
The Defence CS was speaking during the thanksgiving service of Environment Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya in Narok.
Duale said Tuya was a real warrior in the Maasai community who many women look up to.
“Ruto ni mfugaji wa Kenya mzima ,Tuya ni mfugaji wenu, mtoto wenu lakini sasa akiwa kwa serikali pale juu ni kiongozi wenu.
(Ruto is a pastoralist, Tuya is a pastoralist of Narok, your daughter but when she is in the Cabinet, she is your leader).
The former Garissa Township MP also disclosed that CS Tuya is a student from Ruto’s school of politics.
He went down memory lane of how Tuya joined URP three months before the 2013 general elections and won the Woman representative seat.
Duale said that given a chance he would write on how many people President William Ruto has mentored from his school of politics.
“There are many people you (Ruto) have helped. You have been a mentor and when given a chance to write another book, I will write how you have helped many including myself,” he added.
