Aerosud is expected to manufacture and supply various aircraft parts to Boeing, Airbus and other Aerospace companies, Ethiopian announced.

At the signing ceremony, CEO of Ethiopian, Tewolde Gebremariam said Ethiopian has entered into agreement with Aerosud to establish and develop labor-intensive aerospace manufacturing industry, pursuant to the nation’s industrialization policy.
“…the establishment of these facilities will surely create significant job opportunities for the young and educated task force and be another face of the industrial park development task that is being carried out in the country,” he said.
The manufacturing facilities will be set up in the vicinity of Bole International Airport.
Managing Director of Aerosud Group, Johan Steyn expressed happiness to establish this joint venture with Ethiopian Airlines, the leading airliner in the continent.
“We would like to share Aerosud’s long years of experience working with major Aircraft Manufactures such as Boeing and Airbus and help Ethiopian in the development of the aerospace manufacturing industry in the country,” said the Director.
