Havana, (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel talked with his counterparts from Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, and Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed, about the two Cuban doctors kidnapped a few days ago, the Head of State announced through Twitter on Thursday.

Diaz-Canel wrote his telephone conversation is part of efforts aimed at achieving the return of doctor Assel Herrera and Landy Rodriguez.

He recently pointed out on the same social media that Cuba is working tirelessly for the safe return of the two collaborators kidnapped on Kenya on April 12.

Cuban authorities have expressed their gratitude for the international solidarity with Herrera and Rodriguez and their families.
