Hearts Desire

For all of the things that life has thought me, in all of my years on earth and experience thus far, the one thing that all of us are equally in search for is love. Each and every one of us wants to be loved but most of all, we all agree that the greatest pleasure known to mankind is to fall in love. To fall madly in love for another human being, sometimes a complete stranger might seem losing control to some of us, but to some, it’s the only way to love. It’s the lucky ones that get the chance to have the pleasure of seeing normal things in an extraordinary light. Love has the ability to make us feel ways that all things are possible. Some even say that a heart that loves stays young forever or at least at heart. Josiah G. Holland once said, “The most precious possession that ever comes to a human being in this world, is the heart of another.”
I must admit, I am a complete romantic. Maybe even a fanatic. Some call people like me, hopeless romantics and even unrealistic. But I say, some of us feel so deeply and passionately and some of us don’t. I don’t remember who said “A fool in love makes no sense to me. I only think you are a fool if you do not love.” If we think about love more often, there is less time left to think about the other unpleasant things that life has to offer. One could find him/her self, wanting the same thing for others.
Life is a journey and not a destination. I just remind myself that we’re only passing through here on earth. It has been said that “While we keep postponing, life speeds by.” I say love on. Love is peace and prosperity. It’s what we need so much of. My fellow readers I give you my poem “Hearts Desire”
HEARTS DESIRE
As I sit by you and listen to your words
I close my eyes as your voice inters my soul like the sweetest melody of music
As I inhale the whispers of your poetic lyrics, I begin to get mesmerized by the grace of your figure
I look in to your eyes and I am intoxicated and the universe starts to appear like a glorious dream
You sit next to me and I longed for your touch even more, like an invent, I yearn to curled up in your arms my love
Your enchanting voice enters my blood stream and I begin to see you with my very heart
I am completely lost in you, I adore every inch of your being
The smell of your breath awakens memories long lay hidden in the depths of my core
Your presence I am overwhelmed, you are whom my heart loves
Happiness I cry my love, in your dept, I deposit my heart and my soul
If today is not here tomorrow, I thank you for making me feel the love of my life
I am infinitely yours for Eternity!
